Honey Tasting

Last week was all about bees. Children wanted to learn about bees so I created a mini unit where we made an interactive project in our topic books all about bees. We read books, watched you tube clips, read stories, danced and tasted honey. We were lucky enough to have Elle bring in some honey comb where we got to look at the cells they made with wax and try some lovely honey. Please come in and look at their projects in their books as they spent so much time on these. Here are some pictures of us tasting the honey.

Bunny Visit

Sam brought a bunny in that was rescued from Ramarama when there was all that flooding last week. It was so tiny and we all got to have a little pat. They are looking at re-homing it so if you feel like having a bunny come and see me.
